It must be hard for Kapuso actor Benjamin Alves as he lost his father just recently. Benjamin’s father, Ebet Sapida lost his life last October 8 in Guam where their whole family is based at. According to PEP, the cause of his passing remains unknown for the public.
PEP also reported that Benjamin was in his telesery, Kapag Nahati Ang Puso, taping when he received the news. He immediately left the set and booked a flight to Guam. Many of his fans are now sending messages of comfort for the actor.

Meanwhile, Benjamin also took to Facebook to honor his father. He changed his display picture with a picture of him, young and innocent, while he was on his father’s back. It is really evident how Benjamin was hurt because of what happened.
Meanwhile, many of his colleagues in showbiz sent him messages including Sunshine Cruz, Francine Prieto, Kat de Castro and Glenda Garcia.
